What this directory is

Pickleball Court Guide lists 130 pickleball court businesses across Kuala Lumpur, built for players who want to find a court without wading through outdated Facebook posts or half-updated websites. If you’re choosing between indoor and outdoor venues, checking which clubs run open play sessions, or just want to know what’s actually open this month, that’s what this directory is for.

We are not the courts themselves, and we’re not a booking platform. We’re an independent reference point that pulls together public information and organises it so you can compare venues side by side.

Where the listing data comes from

Each listing is built from public business information (things like location, hours, court counts, and amenities) combined with a synthesis of recent Google reviews. We don’t republish review text or scrape comments into our pages. Instead, we read the pattern of recent public sentiment and summarise what it tells us, then link out to the venue’s Google listing if you want to read the original reviews yourself.

This means our summaries reflect what real players have said recently, without turning our site into a mirror of someone else’s review page.

How rankings work

Rankings come from a published rubric applied to the data we collect, covering things like court availability, facility quality signals, and consistency of recent player feedback. You can read the full breakdown on our methodology page. Nobody pays to move up this list. A business can contact us to correct factual details on its own listing (a wrong address, outdated hours, a closed location), but it cannot edit its own score, sentiment summary, or position in the ranking. That separation is what keeps the list worth reading.

Sponsorship, if and when it appears

Some pages may include sponsored placements. These are always labelled “Sponsored,” displayed separately from the earned ranking, and never blended into it. A sponsored slot never bumps a venue up the actual rankings.

We should also be direct about the rest of the business: Pickleball Court Guide is an independent directory and comparison resource, and we also generate enquiries for local providers. When you ask to be matched with a court or club, we pass your enquiry to providers relevant to your request and may receive a referral fee for doing so. Who runs this and how it’s kept current

The directory is published by Sarah Guide, a local guide who built this resource to help players find accurate, current venues around the city. Rankings and editorial oversight are maintained by Sarah, Editor, based on genuine player feedback rather than paid placement. Data refreshes weekly, and each listing carries a “last verified” stamp so you can see it’s actively maintained, not a page left to go stale. The directory also gets a fuller monthly pass to catch closures, new venues, and bigger changes.
